1: The colours where inspired by the record label (5) and the fact I wanted a plain neutral background but not as bright as white so a calm cream colour was chosen for the spine and inside.
2: The Remo drive and Marietta covers inspired my back panel to show the band camaraderie the mcbisted back also inspired me since it would give a grungy 'lad band' vibe with the iron fence and implied urinating.
4: The fonts where inspired by comic books and food trucks seen in lyric sheet 12, the latter 2 font who seriousness with straight lines contrasted by the other bubbly font to embody the light heartedness of the band.
5: The record label has a base ball high top sneaker feel I tried to use similar colours to make the disc look official.
6: The name sake is based of the Simpsons and I tried to use a similar font for the band tittle this style of humour and cartoonyness is carried out throughout the songs and lyric sheets.
7: The marietta cover and the AFI back reinforced my thoughts of scenic nature shots, a sun set / horizon themes chosen due to the pretty sky we had recently.
8: Old kerrang!'s inspired my font since i really like the double layer 3d effect.
9: the crow idea was a alternative to the houses as the dead bird is a macabre contrast to the energy and flight of birds this was semi inspired by the bird dance from 'Moon Rise Kingdom' I still tried to keep some link to child hood with the doodled eyes and classic school desk.
